I discovered Pilates over 10 years ago. I was looking for gentle exercise for an ongoing shoulder injury. Loved it. Missed it. Whenever I stopped I realised it really works for me! Again during both pregnancies found it a huge benefit.

Since training as a teacher I have discovered how important the fundamentals are. They are the foundations – without truly understanding these you won’t achieve the best results. I have trained with Body Control Pilates and am passionate about bringing the benefits of Pilates to everyone and as a fully qualified teacher certified by Europe’s largest professional Pilates organisation I can help you improve muscle tone and core stability, building strength from the inside out, re-balancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment.

The ‘classical’ Pilates exercises that Joseph Pilates developed may take many years to perfect and may be beyond the capability of the average person.

I break these exercises down so that clients can enjoy the benefits of Pilates whilst working safely and effectively as they move towards the more advanced exercises.
