First Strokes Pool Parties Terms and Conditions:
- Any medical conditions must be reported to the Lifeguard before entering the pool.
- It is advised that if a child feels unwell on the day that they do not swim.
- You are requested to arrive a maximum of 15 minutes before your booked party time and no earlier.
- MAXIMUM of 30 swimmers is allowed in the pool – including adults assisting.
- ALL non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and must wear buoyancy aids – ratio 1 adult to 1 child. NOTE: Non-Swimmer is an individual who is unable to swim 25 metres continuously and independently in deep water using a recognised swimming stroke, without physical assistance, buoyancy aids, or support from the poolside.
- ALL Children under 8 years old MUST be accompanied by a responsible Adult at a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children in the pool.
- ALL swimmers must follow the instructions of the Lifeguard.
- At least ONE adult must be in the deep end at all times.
- Running, jumping, bombing, using the diving blocks, throwing items, masks, snorkels and flippers are ALL FORBIDDEN.
- If a lane rope is used to divide off the shallow end and deep end, swimmers MUST NOT enter the deep end.
- These rules must be explained and accepted for all pool party bookings and followed by all attendees. Please ensure all children and parents are fully aware of these policies.
- The party room is available to you for the hour during the swimming session to enable you to set up and 15 mins after the hours party time to complete any clearing away.
- All food and drinks must be consumed in the party room – The viewing room should be cleared of all rubbish and placed in the bins provided.
- Party Cancellations – 7 days notice or more a full refund will be offered. Less than 14 days notice no refund will be given.
